A WhatsApp message initiated the CBI's investigation into the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Investigators used app logs and a WhatsApp group to track students and identify question setters. Chemistry professor PV Kulkarni allegedly shared questions after memorizing them from NTA preparations. Physics paper was leaked separately by another NTA panel member for a fee. Leaked papers were transported to Rajasthan and circulated as mock tests by coaching centers.
